Death by Vaccination
Brandy Mae's Medical Records

Brandy Mae was born on January 23, 1992 at 12:00 pm, weighing in
at 7 pounds 12 ounces, 19  3/4 inches long. How can I explain her for
others to understand? Brandy was an exceptional baby, picture perfect
and a joy to us all. A very healthy baby from the start, who was full
of life and never fussed for anything.

Most of you might think by now after ready just this much "well, it is
another death story, same as the last one", well let me just say right
now I won't bore you with all the wonderful details of my precious
daughter. Your more than welcome to read more about Brandy Mae if
  you choose to!

I want to bring forth an untold truth that so many people would rather
ignore. She was so full of life! Her life was tragically cut short because
of a doctor. Not just any doctor, but the same pediatrician that took
care of me (her mother) throughout my entire childhood. This is a
physician our whole family knew, trusted, and sought for any medical
needs. You ask how did this doctor cut her life short? Well it is good
you have asked...sit back and get ready for some facts.

Brandy was a healthy child until she started receiving vaccinations.
Never once ill prior to her first set of injections. Brandy well surpassed
all expectations of a developing baby. When she was born, the Dr's
told us we had a perfectly healthy baby girl. In fact, both of us did so
well after delivery, we only had to stay for her to get her 24 hour old
blood work done. As time went by, Brandy exceeded  in areas that
other babies were barely managing. She was always above average in
length and right on target with her weight.

  One month check up:
  2/24/1992 - 1 month check up, height 22  3/4 inches, weight
  9 pounds 4 ounces,  hc 38.5 cm

  Two month check up:
3/28/1992  Vaccines given (OPV, DTP, HbPV)

3/31/1992 Doctor notes in file: 'baby on Donatol, mom states baby
cramping up since Saturday- pulls legs up- 0 vomiting- Enfamil pink
spitting up- stools ok- had DPT, Hib & OPV   3/26/1992 no fever'
Maybe they should have realized right there that maybe she was
having a reaction to a vaccine.

4/11/1992 Doctors notes in file: 'screaming & cries as if in pain-
re check ear- runny nose & slight cough'

5/08/1992 Doctor notes in file: 'very cranky x 1 week- no other
  symptoms'

5/27/1992 Doctor notes in file: 're check ears- mom doesn't think she
can hear ' they had prescribed Brandy some medicine for an ear
infection, the doctors and pharmacy screwed up the label, so what she
was suppose to take orally, it was put into her ears per directions.

  Six month check up:
8/5/1992 six month check up & immunizations
(note: the doctors vaccine chart shows that her 6 month shots were
given on 6/4/1992 and not 8/5/1992)

8/8/1992 Doctor notes in file: 'runny nose, possible fever last night-
woke up sweating- also is coughing'

8/15/1992 Doctor notes in file: 'white spots inside of mouth x 1 day'

10/12/1992 Doctor notes in file: 'irritable, runny nose, cough, difficulty
  breathing'

11/18/1992 Doctor notes in file are not readable

12/10/1992 Doctor notes in file: 'coughing, runny nose x 1 week-
  no fever'

2/03/1993 Doctor notes in file: 'pulling at ears, eyes red underneath,
  runny nose, no fever'
All of the dates from her six month check up and immunizations to
2/03/1993 you can see relate to those vaccinations administered.

2/08/1993 Doctor notes in file: 'fracture in left wrist'
Brandy was learning how to walk and tripped over a toy, fell on her
wrist. This was her first real boo-boo

3/10/1993 Doctor notes in file: 'flu'
Brandy picked up this illness at Daycare

3/10/1993 Doctor notes in file: 'still vomiting since this a.m.'

3/11/1993 Doctor notes in file: 'seen yesterday for vomiting, vomited
today x two since 11 a.m. mom states irritability.'

3/11/1993 Brandy Mae was admitted into St. Joseph Mercy Hospital

3/11/1993 Brandy Mae had a febrile seizure due to her fever reaching
  106.4 degrees.

3/11 through 3/12/1993 Hospital ran tests, they say she had Rotovirus,
tests included spinal fluid draw, blood culture and spinal culture, all
  negative.

3/13/1993 Brandy Mae was discharged from the hospital, instructed to
feed "brat diet" for a week, and to keep out of daycare for as long as
  possible.
Brandy missed her twelve month vaccinations due to being
hospitalized, doctors said it was gastroenteritis, hospital said it was
  rotovirus.

6/14/1993 Brandy was taken back to her pediatrician for an eye
infection. I explained to the Dr  that her eyes were crusting over in
the morning. At that time he wrote her a prescription for some eye
drops and told me she didn't get her 15 month immunization shots yet.
I questioned him about whether or not she should get them
considering not that long before hand, she was ill and had a seizure,
and she had a current eye infection, he told me to stand her on the
floor and let her walk around. About 30 seconds after, he said, "Mom,
she looks healthy to me, she needs her shots!" After leaving the room,
he ordered a nurse to come in to administer the shots. She cried for
about 2 minutes. Then I took her to see her grandparents. She was
fine, up until that night, she started to cry a little, acting very tired.
As the night grew on, Brandy became more irritable. She started
having screaming fits, and when I was holding her, she became almost
limp, she was unable to hold up her own bottle or her head up. I
dismissed all of these things as normal since her Dr and nurse told me
that this would be normal. I started to worry, of course every mother
does when your child is not acting normal, but then I really believed
that the Dr knew what he was talking about and I didn't think that my
worrying was legitimate. So I gave her some Tylenol (per the nurses
instructions if she were to become irritable) and rocked her to sleep.
At midnight I laid her in bed. I checked on her one more time before I
went to bed, and she was sleeping just fine.

6/15/1993 Knowing how long Brandy stayed up the night before, I
decided to shower before waking her. As I started to open the door, I
felt a sharp pain in my stomach. She was lying on her stomach at the
foot of her bed, her body was still warm, her head was not facing
down, yet rather at an angel where you couldn't see her face. When I
proceeded to roll her over, her eyes were heavily crusted and each eye
looking in different directions. Her two first fingers on her left hand fell
away from her lips (she sucked on her two fingers upside down), her
lips were purple, her chest was purple, her legs were purple. I
screamed and ran to my neighbors to call 911 and got help. My
neighbor ran to get another neighbor and she came over and tried to do
CPR. Within minutes, my mother and my husband arrived with
emergency help right in front of them. The EMS were inside for only a
few brief moments before they walked out to the deck and quietly told
us that they were sorry, but there was nothing they could do to help
her. They said she must have died two hours prior to me finding her.

I couldn't understand what was happening, it felt like a horrible
nightmare that I couldn't wake up from. I kept hoping that this was all
a mistake. I thought if only someone would slap me in the face and
wake me up that I would wake up to my baby in my arms. I can't even
tell you how long it took for me to realize that it was not a nightmare,
  my daughter really was dead.

My husband, our parents, my siblings, my cousin, and I all sat in our
living room trying to figure out what happened.  My mom kept
mentioning the fact that the day previous Brandy was very healthy for
the exception of an eye infection, and then we wake the following day
to a dead baby. She thought it was a vaccine reaction, and of course
we never heard anything of the sort before and didn't believe it.

My mother and my sister were on the phone trying to speak with her
doctors. My mother finally got fed up and went directly into the doctors
office, they politely told her it was not a vaccine reaction and that they
had no idea why she died. They even said something to the effect that
if we tried to pursue her death, that they would speak out about the
hairline fracture she had in her wrist 4 months previous. We realized
that the doctors were basically saying that if we tried to say that they
caused her death, that they would argue our allegation and say she
  had been abused.

The doctors even told my mother that if we needed anything that they
would be there to help. He gave my mother a prescription to calm her
nerves as well. They said they were going to come to her funeral and
  never showed up.

After Brandy died, the police and the medical examiner never asked us
any questions about what happened to her. I made several attempts
within the month following her death to speak to the medical examiner
and ask him what he found. The autopsy report said that her brain was
mildly swollen, and all her lymph nodes were swollen. He told me that
he had to file her death as 'Undeterminable'. When I asked why, he
said that she could have been strangled, suffocated, or died from SIDS.
I told him I knew that was a lie because if that were true there would
have been bruises somewhere on her body and the police would have
done an  investigation, and I knew that at her age a child doesn't die
  from SIDS.

  Lymph Nodes- Reactive Hyperplasia
Spleen- Reactive hyperplasia of the white pulp

  Diagnosis-
  1. Reactive lymphoid hyperplasia

  Opinion-
This 1 year old white female, Brandy Mae, was found dead in bed.
Based upon autopsy, toxicology, and a thorough investigation of the
circumstances, a cause of death cannot be determined. I cannot rule
out with certainty asphyxia due to oxygen deprivation or febrile
seizures as possible causes of death. Reactive lymphoid hyperplasia
found at autopsy is not sufficient in and of itself to cause death. In
consideration of the findings of this postmortem examination, and the
circumstances surrounding this death, the manner of death if
  undetermined.

  Manner of Death-
  UNDETERMINABLE

  Toxicology Report-

Blood Alcohol- None Detected
  Serum Drug Screen- None Detected
  Urine Drug Screen- None Detected

Since the first medical examiner failed to reveal the true cause of
death, our lawyers hired another medical examiner to examine Brandy's
  death, below his his report.

  March 4, 1994

I have reviewed medical records, autopsy report, and microscopic slides
of this one year old, white female child and find evidence of meningeal
irritation with mild mixed inflammatory infiltrate, similar changes in the
myocardium and focal aggregates of inflammatory cells is lung
  sections.

The findings are subtle, but indicate an acute virus infection. It is my
opinion that the child died of this condition and that in view of the
timely relationship, the death was related to the vaccination
  administered one day earlier.

Note: The original medical examiner assigned to Brandy's death is the
same medical examiner who worked on Malice Green's case in defense
of Larry Nevers and Walter Budzyn. It was said he lied under oath in
favor of the two Detroit Police Officers. If you want more information
on how crooked this medical examiner is, do a search on the following
three names- Malice Green, Travis Shelton
, and Nathaniel Abraham.

It wasn't until January 11, 1994 that our Doctor's office finally received
a report from the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System. The
following vaccinations were administered to Brandy the day before she
  died:
Michigan DPH       DTP Vaccine          Lot # TR1219A
  Praxis                    Hibtiter                    Lot # M15JL
MSD                     MMR II                  Lot # 0118W

Note: Some lots contain as many as 700,000 doses, while others as
  few as 20,000 doses.

In 1999, I received a report from the Department of Health and Human
Services, this report shows how many reports were filed on each of
these lot #'s. Below is a short summary of the report:
DTP   Lot # TR1219A-  42 reports received of which 10 were serious (2
  fatal)
However if you look at all the numbers in the actual reports, it shows
51 serious reports and 9 fatal.
Hibtiter   Lot # M15JL- 1 report received of which 1 were serious (1
  fatal)
MMR    Lot # 0118W- 16 reports received of which 3 were serious (1
  fatal)
